Federal Territories and Urban Well-being Minister Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin is suspecting PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to be the cause for the poor relationship between Malaysia and Indonesia.
Indonesia & Malaysia have confrontation History, 1st Indonesian President Soekarno Consider the declaration of Negara Malaysia as the puppet country that controlled by the imperialism & colonialism British & USA
It’s the malaysian provocation, you claim many Indonesian culture to promote u’r tourism !

>> u showing Bali sacred dancing in Discovery channel to promote ur tourism ? do you know what the meaning sacred dancing ?
>> U use Lagu rasa sayange, to promote u’r tourism, in television advertisement, do you know that song have the creator, but u never ask permission, it song from Ambon island u know ?
This is actually an old issue but brought back to the spot light due to some error in a documentary by Discovery Channel.
But, was this the main cause for Indonesian to ‘attack’ us? I meant literally attack us. It was in the news just now that they want to wage war against us. They went burning Malaysian flags and ironically, Padang in Indonesia just went through a devastating disaster.
If they do attack us or wage war against Malaysia, this would be the most ridiculous war in modern history.
And then the ‘maid abuse’ issues, detention center issues, and other immigration related issues. But these happen in other country too. Even in America. Why not attack them too?
I tried searching the web to understand the cause of this hatred. It seems the one that Indonesians are mad at are actually their own brothers and sisters. And I come to this conclusion.
Indonesia hate us (Malaysia) because we Malaysian are seen as arrogant, obnoxious and discriminating them. We Malaysian are thought to treat Indonesian as inferior. To add insult to the injury, most of these Malaysian actually originated from Indonesia.
The question is, is it true?
Well, from the way I see, hear and talk with the people around me, I have to say Yes. Not entirely but generally, we Malaysian do look down at Indonesian. We may like their music, movies, yet we have these stereotypes and prejudice towards them.
Speaking at a function at Pantai Dalam in Kuala Lumpur today, Raja Nong Chik (right) said Anwar may have painted a distorted picture of Malaysia to the Indonesians.
“Last night Anwar brought an Indonesian reporter over to Pantai Dalam.
“Most importantly, his distorted truth might be the cause of the sour ties between Malaysia and Indonesia,” the minister added.
Anwar, who is also opposition leader in Parliament, was in Pantai Dalam yesterday for the recording of a personality programme with Indonesian private television station TVOve.
‘Anwar not well-received’
According to an Anwar aide, the recording in Pantai Dalam was to capture Anwar’s interaction with the ordinary folk.
However, Raja Nong Chik described the arrival of Anwar in Pantai Dalam as “not well-received”.
“How many people followed him? No one, right?” he said.
He also chided Anwar for belittling the government’s “1Malaysia People Assistance” (BR1M) scheme.
“I am not lying. He was telling people that, take the BR1M money, but don’t vote BN,” he said.
Under the BR1M scheme, the head of a family with a monthly household income of RM3,000 and below can apply for the RM500 one-off cash aid from the government, which is being paid this month.
Those eligible are married individuals; single mothers and single fathers with dependants; bachelors and spinsters with dependents; and senior citizens (aged 60 and above) living alone.
WHY THE INDIAN, CHINESEAND THE MALAYS SHOULD NOT VOTE THIS
Targeting FT Minister Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin and his deputy M Saravanan, Nurul accused the DBKL of improper traffic planning in the area.
“In any traffic dispersal plan, the needs of the locals need to be taken into account. But the needs of the people of Brickfields have been cast aside, at what cost?” she said.
Nurul also pointed out that five traffic accidents had happened in the 48 hours following the changes.
She then demanded that the government bring in an independent traffic dispersal expert to find a solution over the matter.
“We need a short-term solution because right now, (the situation) is not tenable,” she said.
Speaking to FMT, some of the traders have claimed that they have suffered as much as a 70% drop in revenue.
They attributed this to the transformation of Brickfields into Little India, a development undertaken by Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) in mid-2010.
